Managing user accounts and profiles

Your user account in BoldSales allows you to update personal details, manage email settings, and review assigned roles and permissions. Some settings can be modified directly, while others, such as Roles and Permission Sets, are managed by an admin.

Use cases

Updating email settings for seamless communication

Sales reps need a centralized inbox to track all customer emails within CRM. Syncing an external email account ensures that every sent and received email is logged automatically.

Assigning ownership when a team member changes roles

When a sales rep transitions to another role or leaves the organization, their active deals and contacts must be reassigned to another user to maintain continuity in the sales process.

Ensuring secure logout on shared or remote devices

For users working remotely or in shared office spaces, it’s important to log out after completing CRM tasks to prevent unauthorized access.


Updating profile details
  1. Click the profile icon in the top-right corner.
  2. Select View Profile & Settings.
  3. In the details tab, click Edit next to the field you want to modify.
  4. Update and save your changes.

Note: Changes to Roles and Permission sets require Admin approval.


Managing email settings
  1. Go to your profile and click View Profile & Settings.
  2. Click on Email tab.
  3. Choose your preferred email provider to connect to.
  4. Connect to your preferred email provider using your chosen account.

Note: If using the trial, CRM-provided email services are available with limited capacity.


Setting preferences

Customize your CRM experience:

  • Theme:

  • Choose a preferred theme:

    • Light (default)
    • Dark
  • Time zone:

  • Select your time zone

    • (E.g. UTC+05:30) Chennai, Kolkata, Mumbai, New Delhi
  • Default module views:
    Set the default view for each module (e.g., All Leads, All Deals) so your preferred layout loads first.


Syncing your calendar

Stay on top of meetings, follow-ups, and tasks by syncing your calendar:

  • Connect your Google or Outlook calendar.
  • Events and tasks will automatically link to CRM records.
  • Keep your schedule organized and never miss a meeting.
Logging out securely
  1. Click the profile icon.
  2. Select Log Out.

Note: Always log out from shared systems to prevent unauthorized access.
