Accessing the products section

The Products module in BoldSales enables users to efficiently manage, organize, and track products offered by the business. This helps maintain data accuracy, streamline inventory oversight, and ensure that only authorized users can modify critical product information.

Steps to access the products module

Navigate to permission sets

• Go to Setup > Security > Permission Sets.

Create or edit a permission set

• To create a new permission set:
  Click + Create Permission Set, enter a name, description and clone from existing permission sets, then click Create.
• To modify an existing permission set:
  Click on the desired permission set from the list.

Adjust access levels for products

• Under Access section, select the Products module.
• Ensure the View permission is enabled for All records.
• If the user needs additional actions like Edit, Delete enable those as required.
• Modify the access levels as needed to enable users to interact with product-related activities.

Assign users to the permission set

1. Click on Manage users within the selected permission set.
2. Add the required users to ensure they have access to the Products module and click Assign.

3. Once assigned, users will be able to access and manage products based on their permission levels.
