Accessing the companies section

Companies module in BoldSales allows users to manage organization profiles, link them with contacts, and track interactions. To access this section, users must have the appropriate permissions assigned via permission sets in the setup.

Steps to access the companies section

Navigate to permission sets
  • Go to Setup > Security > Permission Sets.
Create or edit a permission set
  • To create a new permission set:
    • Click + Create Permission Set.
    • Enter a name and description and clone a permissions set from the existing permission sets.
    • Click Create to save the permission set.
    • Adjust the access levels under the Companies module for View, Edit and Delete permissions.

Assign users to the permission set
  1. Open the specific permission set.
  2. Click Manage users.
  3. Click Assign Users and select the users who need access to the Companies module.
  4. Click Assign to save the selected users.

  1. Once assigned, users will be able to access the companies section based on their assigned permissions.

To restrict users to only view company records, set the access level for Edit and Delete to No records.
