It includes your name, job title, contact details, and branding elements like logos or disclaimers. This helps maintain a consistent and professional identity across all communications.

An email signature reinforces your organization’s identity by consistently displaying your name, title, company logo, and brand colors. This helps recipients immediately recognize your affiliation and builds trust in your communications.

Contact information sharing

Including your phone number, email address, office location, and social media links in your signature ensures that recipients can easily reach you through multiple channels without needing to search for your details.

Internal communication clarity

In large organizations, signatures help colleagues quickly identify your department, role, and reporting structure, which is useful for cross-functional collaboration and internal networking.


Accessing Email signature settings

To access your email signature settings:

  • Navigate to Setup > Profile > Email Setup.
  • Scroll down to the Email signature section.
  • Click the Edit button.

The Insert Signature editor will appear, allowing you to:

  • Enter and format your signature using tools for font size, bold, italic, underline, color, lists, images, links, and code.
  • Use brand-aligned fonts, sizes, and colors for a professional look.
  • Click Insert to save your changes or Cancel to discard.

Note: The signature is automatically included in all emails sent manually from BoldSales.

Why is my email signature not appearing automatically?

Ensure you’ve clicked Insert after editing your signature. If it still doesn’t appear, check your Email signature under Setup > Profile > Email Setup.

Can I include images or logos in my BoldSales signature?

Yes, the signature editor allows you to insert images such as company logos. Make sure the image is optimized for email and properly aligned.

Is there a character limit for email signatures in BoldSales?

Yes, BoldSales supports up to 1,000 characters in an email signature. To ensure readability and compatibility across devices, it’s recommended to keep your signature concise and well-formatted.

How do I update my signature if my role or contact details change?

Simply go to Setup > Profile > Email Setup > Email signature, edit your details, and click Insert to save the updated signature.

Does the signature apply to automated emails?

No. Email signatures only apply to emails sent manually by users.

Can I have different signatures for different email accounts?

Currently, only one signature is supported per user profile.

Will my signature appear when replying or forwarding emails?

No, the signature will not be included automatically in replies and forwards from BoldSales.
