Setting up your organization profile

Updated:

The organization profile lets you configure default organization-wide settings for all users. It includes defining basic organization details, branding, and preferences — such as providing login options (e.g., Google, Microsoft) and tools like email, calendar, and video conferencing platforms that users can connect to within BoldSales.

You must have the Manage organization settings permission to make the configurations. Contact your CRM administrator if you do not have permission.

Organization details

Go to Setup > Organization Profile > Details.

  • Click Edit next to Organization name, Website, Phone number, Address to update your company details.
  • Under Branding, you can update the icon logo, primary logo, and brand color, which will be used across the application for a consistent look and feel.

Preferences

Go to Setup > Organization Profile > Preferences.

  • Under Login options, select which login options (e.g., Google, Microsoft) users can use to log in to BoldSales.
  • Under Approved domains, add approved domains to log in to BoldSales. This ensures that only users with company-approved email domains can log in. For e.g., if your company’s email domain is @novalinkhq.com, add novalinkhq.com to the approved list. Then, only users with email addresses like alex@novalinkhq.com will be able to log in.
  • Under Time zone, select your preferred time zone (e.g., (UTC-08:00) Pacific Time (US & Canada)). This ensures that timestamps on activities, meetings, and tasks reflect your local business hours. Individual users can override this if they have Manage user permission under Setup and Management.
  • Under Default view, set a view for each module. For example, setting All Contacts as the default view in the Contacts module ensures that users will see this view when they open the Contacts module. Individual users can override this under My Profile > Preferences.

Configure email

Go to Setup > Organization Profile > Email.

  • Under Email integration options, choose which email services (e.g., Google, Outlook, or other email providers) users can connect to the BoldSales.
  • Under Approved domains for email connections, add approved domains. This ensures that only users with company-approved email domains can connect their email accounts to the BoldSales. For e.g., if your company’s email domain is @nexoventures.com, add nexoventures.com to the approved list. Then, only users with email addresses like emma@nexoventures.com will be able to connect their email accounts.

Configure calendar

Go to Setup > Organization Profile > Calendar.

  • Under Calendar integration options, choose which calendar services (e.g., Google, Outlook) users can connect to the BoldSales.
  • Under Approved domains for calendar connections, add approved domains. This ensures that only users with company-approved email domains can connect their calendars to the BoldSales.
  • Check Sync only events related to CRM contacts to limit syncing from the external calendars to only events that are associated with contacts in BoldSales.

Configure video conferencing platform

Go to Setup > Organization Profile > Video Conferencing.

  • Under Video conferencing integration options, choose which video conferencing platforms (e.g., Google Meet, Microsoft Teams) users can connect to the BoldSales.
  • Under Approved domains for video conferencing, add approved domains. This ensures that only users with company-approved email domains can connect their video conferencing accounts to the BoldSales.
