Introduction to Contacts

Updated:

Contacts are the people you engage with as part of your sales activities. This module contains leads, prospects, and existing customers, and serves as the central place to track conversations, ownership, tasks, and related deals. By managing contacts effectively, you can maintain clear context for every interaction, ensure timely follow-ups, and build stronger, long-term customer relationships throughout the sales journey.

Each contact moves through lifecycle stages like Lead, Qualified lead, Customer, etc., which helps you:

  • Understand their position in the sales process.
  • Tailor engagement strategies.
  • Improve communication and increase chances of closing deals.

Note for non-admin users: If you don’t have access to configure or manage Contacts, contact your BoldSales administrator to request the required permission.

Note for administrators: For managing permissions, refer to Understanding permissions in Contacts module.
