Adding New Products
The Products module serves as a centralized hub where businesses can create, customize, and manage all products. This article walks you through the process of adding a new product in BoldSales.
Note for non-admin users: If you don’t have access to configure or manage Products, contact your BoldSales administrator to request the required permission.

Adding a new product
There are multiple ways to access the products creation form:
From the products module
- Navigate to the Products module from the left sidebar menu (Shortcut G + P).
- Click the
button located at the top-right of the products listing page (Shortcut: N + P).
Using the global add icon
- Click this
icon in the top-right side of the page.
- Select Product from the dropdown menu.
Once the Create Product drawer opens, fill in the product information. Available fields in the form may vary depending on the product fields’ setup.
- Name: Enter the name of the product.
- Selling type: Determines how the product is billed, either as a Standalone product or through a Subscription model.
Once the necessary details are filled, click Create.
Adding fields to the form
The fields that appear in the create form depend on the products fields configuration. If you want to add more fields to the form or change which ones are required, you can configure them from Customize fields in the top-right corner of the Create Product form.
Also, you can go to Setup > Configure, Price, Quote (CPQ) > Products to customize fields.
