Steps to set team permissions
To configure team permissions, go to Setup > Security > Permission Sets here you can create a team permission set and then configure the relevant permissions needed to your team members. This allows for streamlined and consistent access control.
- Set the access levels for each module:
- View – Allow team members to see records.
- Edit – Allow modifications to records.
- Delete – Grant permission to remove records.
Save changes
- Click Save to apply the configured settings.
Assigning users
- You can assign users while creating the permission set by clicking on Manage users, then clicking Assign Users.
- Click Assign to add users to the permission set.
Once you’ve created a permission set, you can assign it to team members to grant them specific permissions. This allows for more granular control over what users can do without changing their primary profile
